Elaine Tanner, of Royal Terrace, Palmerston and formerly of Listowel, passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener, on Wednesday, June 21, in her 80th year. Wife of the late Don Tanner. Mother of Ellen and Ben Nand, David and Jamie Tanner, Robert and Alice Tanner of Chengdu, and Scott and Krista Tanner. Grandmother of Alexandra and Jacob Nand, and Colin and Charlotte Tanner. Sister of Doreen and Peter Little, and John & Joanne Lambert, and sister-in-law of Marion Scott, Margaret and Don McMillan, and Bob Tanner, and friend Joan Kaufman. Remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00pm. A Celebration of her life will be held at the Listowel Legion on Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 1:00 to 3:00pm with Words of Remembrance with Rev. George Russell at 1:30pm. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel. Memorial donations to Palmerston Hospital Foundation or Royal Terrace Residents’ Council would be appreciated.
