Wilfred Schefter of Mildmay passed away on Monday, June 19, at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Walkerton at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Phyllis and father to Rozalynn Schlosser, Karen and Joe Koller, and Paul and Rita Schefter. He was the proud grandpa 8 grand and 13 great grandchildren. He will be missed by his siblings Laura and Alfred Fischer, David and Helen Schefter, and sister-
in-law Marlene and Jim Wilson. Predeceased by his granddaughter Sonya Koller, step sister Mary Helen Belecki, siblings Florence Reinhart, Louise Schefter, Arthur Schefter and Reuben Schefter, and parents George and Regina Schefter. Friends and relatives are invited to a memorial visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 25, at Cameron’s in Walkerton. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 26, at Sacred Heart Church, Mildmay, followed by a private family interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Mildmay. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the ALS Society of Canada or Walkerton and District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
