Wayne Williams, of Hanover, passed away peacefully in his 81st year on May 11, in Kitchener. Wayne is survived by his daughters; Marjorie Hambly and Peter, Carrie Kizell and Antonio, Annette Gazo and Steven, Tammie Cameron and Richard, Adela MacIver and Iain, niece; Amanda Linegar, 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and long-time friend and companion; Marjorie Dobson. Wayne is also survived by his mother-in-law, Bernice Sachs and friend Earl; sisters-in-law; Daphne Williams and Joseph, Donna Frook and Doug, Yvonne Middleton and Dick, Nancy Pegelo and Ron, Debbie Waugh and Ken, and Heather Gateman and Darrell, and many nieces and nephews. Wayne will be missed by his cousins; Gary Freeman, Marian Doucette, Dwight Williams, Carol Smith, and Sharon Connelly. Wayne is predeceased by his devoted wife of 53 years, Dianne Williams. The Williams Family will receive guests at the Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley on Saturday, May 27, from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. A funeral service will directly follow at 2:00 p.m. Refreshments to follow the service. A private family interment service will follow at a later date at the Clinton Cemetery.
