Thomson, John & Clara (Ages 83, 81)

Clara Thomson, at Wingham & District Hospital on Saturday, December 24, passed away peacefully at the age of 81. Two short days later on Monday, December 26, John passed away at the age of 83. Devoted parents of Michelle Thomson and Colleen & Todd Lawles. Loving grandparents of Danielle & Jeff Norgate, Alexander Lawless and Chelsea Lawless both of Sparwood, and great-grandparents of Paisley Norgate. John and Clara will be missed by John’s siblings, Bruce & Maureen Thomson, Bill & Jan Thomson, Trudy Thomson, and Sandra Thomson and by Clara’s siblings Bill & Marg Rooney and Ralph & Jean Rooney. A private burial will take place at Wingham Cemetery and a Celebration of John & Clara’s lives will be held on Saturday, May 13, at Joe Kerr Limited, Wingham from 1:00-4:00 p.m. with memories being shared at 2:00 p.m.
