Ross Smale of Egmondville, passed away peacefully at Seaforth Community Hospital on Saturday, May 20, at the age of 99. Beloved husband of the late Louise Smale. Cherished father of Liz Cardno and Bill Barber, Bob Smale, and Doug and Jane Smale. Adored grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Doris Hackney and brother-in-law of Esther Smale. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and the extended Smale and Case families. In keeping with Ross’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A public memorial service to celebrate Ross’s life will be held at the Egmondville United Church on Saturday, June 17, at 1PM. The day the family had planned a 100th birthday party for Ross. Visitation will be held an hour prior at the church from 12 – 1 PM. Private interment at Staffa Cemetery.
