Marlene Schopf, of Durham, passed away on her 86th birthday at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Durham on Sunday, April 30th. Beloved wife of the late Mel Schope. Dear sister of Allen Newman and Norma, and Tom Newman and Lynn. Marlene will be missed by her brother-in-law Ross Peart, and by her many nieces and nephews and their families. Marlene will also be missed by her faithful four-legged companion, Penny. Predeceased by her siblings Jack Newman, Roy Newman, June Smith, and Brenda Peart. Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held at the Durham Cemetery Columbarium.
