Irene Maurer of Listowel peacefully passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Monday, May 15, in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Harvey Maurer. Loving mother of Paula and Dennis Berlett, Peter and Maria Bailey, and Jacquie Bailey-Cregan and Stephen Cregan. Cherished Namma of Josh Berlett and Taylor Dean, his son Jack, and daughter Etta, Bailey Berlett and Cody McGriskin and son Myles, Tyson Brockelbank and Stephanie Di Biase, and Ashley and Holdyn Lansink. Fondly remembered by Harvey’s family Connie and Gary Montgomery, Nancy and Mark Witteveen, Gayle and Cecil Tucker, Kevin Maurer, and Tammy and Paul Marten. The family will receive friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment Bethesda Cemetery.
