Doreen “Dory” Eickmeier of Pike Lake passed away at Lakeland Regional Health Medical Centre in Lakeland, Florida on Saturday, February 25, at the age of 85. Dory leaves behind her devoted husband of 63 years, Orbin, and their six children Darleen and the late Bill Robson, Dan and Cathy, Daphne Zuniga, Debby Drake, Dwight and Marlene, and Darcy and Joanna. Cherished Nana to 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Dear daughter, born to the late Willibald and Susan and through marriage to the late Alfred and Ethel Eickmeier. Beloved sister of Phyllis Halk, Ted and Merna Weiss, Mary and Norb Oberle, Lucile Lukas and friend Mike, Vern and Carrol Weiss, and Bill Weiss and friend Debbie, and to her Eickmeier siblings Grace Busby, Robert and Bev, Marj Shepherd, and dear friend of Ruth Robson. Friends and relatives are invited for visitation from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 5, and 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, May 6, at Cameron’s in Walkerton. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 6, at Immaculate Conception Church, Formosa.
