Alice Doelman, beloved wife of the late Brian Doelman, of Lucknow, passed away peacefully with family by her side, on Friday May 5, in her 90th year. She was born to the late Teuntje and Eibert vandenBor. Greatly missed by children Margaret McMann, Karen and Ed McGugan, Anne and Raymond Reynen, and Nicholas and Brigitte Doelman. Also survived by daughter-in-law Alice Doelman, 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, sisters Gerda Pennings, and Bertha Pol, and brother John vandenBor. Predeceased by son Gerald Doelman and son-in-law Charles McMann. Visitation will be held at the MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow today from 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be celebrated from the Lucknow Community Christian Reform Church on Tuesday, May 9, at 2 PM with visitation one hour prior. Interment South Kinloss Cemetery, Lucknow.
