George Dixon of Wingham passed away at his home on Saturday, April 1st, surrounded by his family in his 71st year. Devoted husband of Maribeth Dixon. Loving dad of Peter Dixon and Matthew & Cindy Dixon. Adored grandpa of Emma and Thomas Dixon and missed by his special buddy Spencer Bourne. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Frances & Eric Koslowski, Roy & Heather Dixon, Roger Dixon, Joe & Dianne Dixon, Theresa Charlebois, Dennis & Marion Vath, Anne Warman, Adele & Dan Nolan, John Vath, Jane Vath, and Lisa & Randy Robertson. Predeceased by his parents Richard & Madeline Dixon, brother Richard Dixon and Sylvia, sister Maxine Powers and Jack, sister-in-law Verna Dixon, brothers-in-law Danny Charlebois and Roger Warman and his parents-in-law Peter & Audrie Vath. A celebration of George’s life will be held at the Wingham Legion on Saturday, May 6th, from 12:00-3:00 p.m.
