Eleanor Askin formerly of Kincardine, on Friday, in her 94th year. Devoted wife of the late John Askin. Loving mother of Randy and Darlene Askin of London, Sharon and Paul McKnight of Harriston, and Wayne and Melissa Askin of Gowanstown. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Stacey and Jordan, Lindsey and Ryan, Patrick, Brock and Jacqueline, Jacob and Krya, and Clark and step-grandson Carmeron and Sara. Great-grandmother of Myles, Jack, Greyson, Jake, and Layla. Survived by her twin sister Eileen Cruickshank, brother Nelson and Faye Barfoot, and sister Marjorie Givens. Predeceased by her parents, brothers Elmer and Ronald Barfoot, brothers-in-law Robert Cruickshank and Donald Givens and sister-in-law Molly Barfoot. Visitation will take place at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine on Friday, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., where the funeral service to honour Eleanor’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m.
