Henk Gerardus Boersen, age 84, passed away peacefully at home on April 7 with his family by his side. Beloved husband for 59 years of Emma Terpstra. Loving father of Dianne Brekelmans and Francis, Roger and Dawne, Janice Danen and Chris, Kim Boersen-Gladman and Jeff. Grandfather of 12 and Papa to 3. Missed by his many siblings and siblings-in-law. Visitation will be held at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, Stratford on Tuesday, April 11th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Parish Prayers will be offered at 1:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, Stratford on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment at Avondale Cemetery. Memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Church Restoration Fund or to the Stratford General Hospital Foundation appreciated.
