Harm Thalen formerly of the Netherlands who made his life in the Blyth area, passed away peacefully in his 88th year with family close by and the amazing staff at Jessica’s House on Saturday, March 11th. Husband of Sharon Thalen. Dear father of Annie Riley, Hilda Crocker and Don, Herman Thalen and Jessica, Helen Pridham and Brian. He will also be sadly missed by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his wife of 40 years Irene Thalen, son Rick Thalen, granddaughter Heather Riley, parents Harm and Hillichien Thalen, and all of his siblings. Family and close friends will be received at the Falconer Funeral Home in Clinton Wednesday, March 15th for visitation from 12-2 pm with a service to follow with Reverend Nancy Knowles officiating. Spring Interment will be at the Blyth Union Cemetery.
