Herm Soontiens, 76, of Mitchell passed away peacefully at Seaforth Community Hospital on Tuesday, February 28. Surviving is his family Michael and Laura and their mother Susan Bradshaw. Dear brother of Joe Soontiens, Frank Soontiens and Janet, and Marianne Mikel and Dennis. Dear brother-in-law of Pam Soontiens. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Rene and Johanna Soontiens, step-mother Julia Soontiens and brother John Soontiens. Friends will be received at the Lockhart Reception Centre, Mitchell on Saturday, March 4, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. with words of remembrance at 3:00 p.m.
