Rich, Gerald (Age 92, Formosa)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gerald “Gerry” Rich, who died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family the morning of March 14. He was 92 years old. He was a beloved husband to Diana, father to John and Andrea, and Justin and Lufei, grandfather to Andrew, and a friend to many both at home and abroad. Gerry was pre-deceased by his parents Antionette and George Rich, sister Helen and Doug Schlosser, brother Norbert and Jackie Rich, and Father George Rich. Lovingly remembered by his sister Bernice Snatynski, brother Jim Rich, Father Oliver Rich, and Barb Zettler, as well as many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. For friends and family local to Ancaster, A Funeral Mass to be held at ST. Ann Parish, Ancaster, on Friday, March 24, at 10 am. For friends and family of his hometown of Formosa, interment services will be held at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Formosa, on Saturday, March 25, at 11 am.
