James Floyd, of Seaforth and formerly of London, suddenly, but peacefully at his home, on Thursday, March 16, at the age of 77. Cherished husband of Elaine McClure Floyd for over 49 years. Dear father of Dean Floyd, and Michael Floyd and Kim. Proud grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather of 7. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Sydney Floyd and Jeanine Buss, Garry McClure, Clair McClure, Shirley Robinson and Dick, Doris Clark and Murray, and Doug McClure. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Mabel and Sydney Floyd, in-laws Sam and Mary McClure, and daughter-in-law Donna Floyd. A come-and-go Celebration of Life will be held at the Seaforth Agricultural Society, on Sunday, April 2, from 1-3 PM. Words of Remembrance will be held at 2 PM. Cremation has taken place and a spring interment will be held at the Maitland Bank Cemetery, Seaforth.
