John “Jack” Cole, of Goderich, passed away with family by his side at the Alexandra Marine and General Hospital, Goderich on Tuesday, March 7, in his 89th year. Predeceased by his parents Oliver & Edna Cole. Special friend of Sylvia Boyd and predeceased by his wife Ethel Thomson. Dear father of Donna & Peter Lovell, Linda Cole, and the late John Cole. Loving grandfather of Melissa and Jamie Harris, Tim and Patricia. Great-grandfather of Colton and Brooklyn. Fondly remembered by Gerri and Jim Lawrie and Jennifer and Mark Fries. Brother of Anna Stirling and the late Grant, Ethel Desjardin and the late Wilmer, Marg Argyle & Samuel, and the late Doris Schilbe and the late Albert. Friends will be received at McCallum & Palla Funeral Home on Friday March 10, from 5 – 9 PM. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, March 11, at 1 PM. Spring interment Maitland Cemetery.
