Mary Worthington of Ripley passed away at Huron Shores Hospice with her family by her side. She was 2 months shy of her 100th birthday. She was the beloved wife of the late Lloyd Worthington who predeceased her in 2009. Mary was born to her late parents Elizabeth Kirktown and Roy Kennedy. Dear mother of her late daughter Jane, Richard and Sharron, and her late son John and Cecile. Lovingly remembered by her 9 grandchildren. Mary was a proud great-grandma to 10. Missed by her chosen family members Rudong Guo, Lucy Guo, Michelle Thornton, and Lia and Beverly Guo. Survived by nephews David and Vera Kennedy, Jim Kennedy and Linsdsay, Don and Chris Worthington, and niece Anne Brook. Predeceased by her brothers Jack and Beatrice Kennedy and Goldwin and Marion Kennedy. A Private family visitation and funeral service will be conducted at MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Ripley. Spring Interment and Public Commital Service will be conducted in the spring at Purdy’s Cemetery.
