Ivan Harkness, of Wingham, at Wingham & District Hospital on Friday, February 3rd, passed away at the age of 73. Husband of Lyla Harkness. Dad of Rob Harkness, Craig Harkness, Jared Harkness & Traci Ducharme, and Leigh Ann Harkness. Grandpa of Jadin, Conner, Anne-Marie, and Emily. Brother and brother-in-law of Jean Mair, Gary & Marlene Harkness, Rick & Laura Harkness, Connie Hickey, Lynn & Elva Hickey, Rod & Linda Hickey, Pam & Calvin Fischer, and Kevin & Marg Hickey. He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents James & Florence Harkness, brother Doug Harkness, brothers-in-law Gary Mair and Emerson Hickey, and nephews Steve Fischer and Shane and Darryl Hickey. A Celebration of Ivan’s life will be held at the Wingham Legion on Sunday, February 19th from 1:00-4:00 p.m.
