Hamers, Chris & Jody (Age 66 & 32, Gorrie & Fordwich)

Tragically as the result of a motor vehicle accident, Chris Hamers of Gorrie, and his daughter Jody Hamers of Fordwich, passed away on Tuesday, February 14. Chris Hamers beloved husband of Annalies Hamers. He was 66 years old. Jody Hamers loved partner of Matt Czajkowski, loving stepmother of Torie and Brock, and caring daughter of Annalies and the late Chris Hamers. She was 32 years old. Chris is remembered by his daughters, and Jody by her sisters; Catherine ‘Cathie’ Hamers and Callum Johnstone, and LeeAnn and Mark Willits and their son Hank. Loved and remembered also by Annalies’ mother and by Matt’s mom Karen Brewer and husband Lawrence. A time to gather, support, and honour their lives will be held at Chris’ shop, 2004 Albert St. N., Gorrie, on Sunday, February 19, from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. Casual dress appreciated. Interment in Gorrie Cemetery.
