Neil Hackbart of Mount Forest passed away on Sunday, February 26, at Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest, at the age of 67 years. Husband of Janice Hackbart. Father of Adam Hackbart & Christin Ritz, and Andrew & Christine Hackbart. Grandfather of Dylan, Lincoln, Daxton, Blake, and Brielle. Brother of Gary Hackbart, Bruce & Maria Hackbart, Gerald & Carolyn Hackbart, Kathryn & Bill Troubridge, and Carolyn Benyair, and brother-in-law of Trish Hackbart. Remembered by his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Lorraine Brownell, Carol and Edgar Carreira, Brian Purcell, and David and Marilyn Purcell, and by his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Fred & Rose Hackbart, brothers Raymond, Lloyd, Glen and Lisa, Brian, and Morris. Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel, on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Listowel, on Friday, March 3, at 11:00 a.m. The service will be live-streamed and the link available on the funeral home website.
