It is with great sadness that the family of Doris Wilson announce her passing at the Wingham & District Hospital on Friday, January 13th. Doris was in her 101st year. Doris was the loving mother of Beverley Reed of Wingham. Cherished Granny of Kimberley Reed of Sturgeon Falls, Jennifer and Barrie Pyefinch of Oshawa, Philip and Abbey Reed of Roanoke, IL and Sarah and Justin MacTavish of Wingham. Doris was a great-granny to eleven and a great-great-granny to three. Doris was predeceased by her husband Stanley Wilson and was the last of her generation. A funeral service will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, on Thursday, January 19th, at 11:00 am, with a visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Kitchener at 3:00 pm. A celebration of life will be held in the spring. Online condolences at www.mcburneyfuneralhome.com.
