Jean Van Rooy of Kingsbridge, in her 94th year and with family by her side, passed peacefully on January 26th. She was the beloved wife of the late John and proud mother of Mary and Mike Kochanowski, Bernie and Steve Reaburn, Joe and Lynn Van Rooy, Henry and Val Van Rooy, Diane and Mark Lalonde, Frankie and Paul Ziegler, Teresa and Mark Driver, and Paul and Holly Van Rooy. Jean was the cherished Oma of 26 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Jean will be missed by her large extended family in both the Netherlands and Canada. Visitation will be held at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, February 1, from 10 AM – 11 AM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church Wednesday at 11 AM.
