Donald Tremeer passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, January 2, in his 83rd year. Beloved spouse and best friend of the late Jay Carter. Loving father of Jennifer Fortin and step-father of Cherie Dolmage and Jeff, Tracie Bartliff and Darren. Dear grandfather of 5, great-grandfather of 2, and grampa Don of 2. Dear brother and brother-in-law of David Tremeer and Christine and Marilyn Wright and Don. Fondly remembered by Jay’s family: Jim Scott, Judy Dixon and Steve Campbell, Jill Jervis and Dave, JoAnn Flynn and Joe, Jamie Scott and Lorie Nurse, Julie Gagnier and Chris Babb. Don will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Edna Tremeer, Donna Scott, Elaine Scott, and Craig Jervis. At Don’s request, cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at a later date at the Egmondville Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to gather to celebrate Don’s life on Saturday, January 7 from 1:30-4:00pm at the Fish and Game Club, Clinton.
