Eileen Sloan, of St. Columban peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on January 2, in her 88th year. Dear wife of the late Tom Sloan. Loving mother of Sandra Reekie, James and Robyn Sloan, Joyce and John Devereaux, Doug and Angela Sloan, and Terry and Peggy Sloan. Cherished Grandma of 7. Great grandma of 1. Dear sister and sister-in-law of George Smith and Cleo, Raymond Smith and Mary Catherine, Sister Joyce Smith, Don Smith and Darlene, Gord Smith and Cecilia, Marg Kendall and Jim, Donna Lesperance, Jean Maloney and Jim, Helen Creces, Bob Smith and Trudy, Mary Smith, Dorothy Smith, Florence Brady and Don. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Laura and Adelbert Smith, sons Danny and David in infancy, son-in-law Paul Reekie, and 10 siblings. Also predeceased by Tom’s 7 siblings. Visitation will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, Seaforth on Tuesday, January 10th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Registration is required. Eileen’s Funeral Mass will be held at St. James Catholic Church, 22 Victoria Street, Seaforth on Wednesday, January 11th at 11 AM. Interment St. Columban Cemetery.
