Carl Ricker of Wingham at Pinecrest Manor Nursing Home in Lucknow, on Sunday, January 15th, passed away peacefully at the age of 78. Devoted husband of Nolda Ricker. Loving dad of Valerie & Darryl Atkins, Bob & Kirsty Ricker, Jennifer & Dan Bonin, Leah Kulas and Lindsay Kulas & Tom Brindley. Cherished grandpa of twelve and great-grandpa of one. Dear brother of Gary Ricker, Diane Prysiazniuk, Karen & Andy Kohut, Marlene Jefferies, Donna & Ray Griffin and Joan Sanders and brother-in-law of Bonnie Ricker. Carl will be lovingly remembered by Nolda’s siblings and their families and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Bob & Hilda Ricker, step-father Roy Swick, brother Stanley Ricker, sister-in-law Dawn Ricker and brother-in-law Bud Sanders. A funeral service will be held at the McBurney Funeral Home, on Friday, January 20th at 1:00 p.m. A celebration of Carl’s life will follow at the Wingham Legion from 2:00-5:00 p.m. The service will be live-streamed and a link available here shortly.
