James aka “J.P.” or “Jim” MacDonald of Hanover, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, at the Hanover and District Hospital in his 76th year. Dearly missed by his beloved wife Eileen. Stepfather to Ron and Sherri Dillon and Chad and Bridget Dillon. Proud step-grandfather of Kristen, Lauren, and Justin Dillon. Jim will also be missed by his sister Heather Marchildon and brother-in-law Murray Russwurm and Winston Riley, as well as nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother-in-law Bernie Marchildon and sister-in-law Madeline Riley. It was Jim’s wish to have a quiet departure. At his request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Jim’s life will be held for family and friends at Jim and Eileen’s home on Saturday, January 21, from 2:00 – 5:00 pm. Jim’s wish is for people to enjoy each other every day.
