Violet Georgina ‘Georgie’ Hutchison, of St. Jacobs and formerly of Clifford & Oakville, died peacefully on Saturday, January 21, in her 90th year. Wife of the late P. Bruce Hutchison. Mother of Pat Davis and Don, Rob and Tracey, and Chris Hutchison-Hounsell and Lyndon, and mother-in-law of Lynn Tyndall. Grandmother of Melanie De Witt, Tom Hutchison-Hounsell, Emma Hutchison-Hounsell and Sam, Andrew Hutchison, William Hutchison, and Matthew Hutchison, and great-grandmother of Guinevere De Witt. Predeceased by her son Steve Hutchison, and sisters Marg Charlton and Marion Kiddie. A Celebration of Georgie’s life will be held at Knox United Church, Clifford with entombment at Clifford Columbarium, on Saturday, February 4 beginning at 1:00 p.m. A reception will follow in the church hall.
