Thomas Helm, beloved husband of Joan Helm of Lucknow, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Wingham & District Hospital on Tuesday, January 24, at the age of 81. Tom was born to the late Myrtle and Robert Helm. Greatly missed by his children Janine and Barry Smyth, and Doug and Jenni Helm and grandchildren Ryan, Brayden, Carmen, Reed and Nelson. Also survived by sister Roberta Whytock, brother Art and Barb Helm, sister-in-law Phyllis Helm and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers James and Grant and brother-in-law Lloyd Whytock. Visitation will be held at the MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow on Friday January 27, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will take place from the chapel on Saturday January 28, at 11 AM with interment at Greenhill Cemetery.
