It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William Ernest, a much loved and cherished husband to Barb, proud father to Krista and Sandy DiStasi, Justin and Jessica and Brandon and Ashley Fairminer, beloved grandfather to Adelynn, Cora, Ryhan, Hayes, Weston, Leighton and Jace. He was a loving brother to Joan Leavoy and Blair and Kelly and brother-in-law to Donna and Bill Hopcraft and uncle to many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He will be missed by many friends he made over the years. Bill is predeceased by his parents Millard and Marjorie Ernest and great nephew Daylan Hopcraft and Theo Thomas. Friends and relatives are invited for visitation from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. today, at Cameron’s in Walkerton. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 4, at Sacred Heart Parish, Walkerton. A livestream of the service will be available at cameronfuneralhomes.com.
