Ana Diniz of Fordwich Village Nursing Home and formerly of Atwood, passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on January 15, at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Joao Diniz. Loving mother of John and Kelly, Paul and Trish and Anna Laidlaw and Kevin and the late Raquel who died in infancy. Cherished Vovó of 7. Survived by her sister-in-law Maria Diniz and brother-in-law Anastasio Diniz and Maria. Predeceased by her parents Francisco and Ana Diniz, brother Francisco Diniz and sister Francisca Rego and Mateus. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation for Ana will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at the Brenneman Funeral Home, Atwood from 5 PM – 8 PM. Prayers will be held at 7:30 PM during visitation. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM on Thursday January 19, at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Listowel. Interment to follow at Elma Centre Cemetery.
