Bev Brears of Listowel passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, January 10, in his 87th year. Dearly loved husband of Sandra Brears for almost 64 years. Loving father of Brenda & Gerry Dykstra, Brian & Melissa Brears, Karen & Rob Regan and Paul & Suzanne Brears. Dear grandfather of 10. Great-grandfather to 11, and one more on the way. Survived also by his brother Wayne Brears, sister-in-law Elaine Miller & Grant, as well as many nieces and nephews. Bev was predeceased by his parents James & Ruth Brears, parents-in-law Archie & Isabel Miller, sister Gerry Noble, and brothers Larry Brears, and Harold Brears in infancy. Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., where the funeral service will be held on Friday, January 13, at 11:00 a.m. The service will be live-streamed, and the link available on the funeral home website.
