Vera Thompson of Listowel, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, after 104 years of living a full life. She was born to the late Peter and Lucy McIntosh. Wife of the late T. Campbell Thompson. Mother of Richard and Hannah Thompson, and Elizabeth Thompson. Grandmother of Reg and Judy Thompson, Rod Thompson and Karen St. Hill, and Laurie Thompson and John Wilson. Great-grandmother of 6, and great-great-grandmother of 9. Predeceased by son Robert Thompson, and daughter-in-law Carol Thompson her sisters Ellen Alexander, and Alice Reid, and her brothers Roy McIntosh, James McIntosh, Merle McIntosh, Charles McIntosh. A celebration of Vera’s life and faith will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Listowel on Friday, December 16th at 11:00 a.m. The funeral will be live-streamed. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., and reception in the church hall to follow. Spring interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel. Online condolences may be left at www.eatonfuneralhome.ca.
