John Murray Thompson of Huron Township passed away peacefully December 2, in his 78th year in hospice in Tiverton. Predeceased by his loving wife Janette Alma. Loving father of Kenneth and Lorie, Janine and Don, Adrienne and Tony, and Keith and Julie. Most wonderful grandfather of 11. Survived by his sister Marilyn and Ron Farrell. Murray will be sadly missed by in-laws David, Shirley, Lynn, Donna, Wayne, Patt, Carl, Ellen, Elliott, Cori, and Gene. Predeceased by Perrin and Marion Lowry, Elmer and Marlene MacKenzie, and Gayle Lowry. Will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbours. Visitation will be held on Tuesday December 6, from 11AM-1PM at the Pine River United Church, followed by the Funeral Service at 1:30 PM. Interment Ripley Cemetery.
