George Spence of Mildmay passed away on Saturday, December 3, at London Health Sciences Centre, University Hospital, in his 77th year. He will be dearly missed by his wife Barbara Spence, children Kimberley and Matthew Ahrens, Kayley, Chad and Meredythe, his grandchildren, David, Annika, Spencer, Linden, Aislyn, Danica, Finn, Logan, Tyrese, and many more family members and friends. George was predeceased by his son Todd, brother Bruce, and his parents Norman and Rae Spence. Friends and relatives are invited for casual visitation from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, at Cameron’s in Walkerton. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 9, at St. Paul’s United Church, Walkerton. Interment in Mildmay United Cemetery.
