Donald Plunkett of Auburn in his 94th year passed away peacefully at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital in Goderich on Wednesday, November 30. Dear father and father-in-law of Andy and Carolynne Thompson, Betty and Barry Powley, Jim and Sheila Thompson, Stephen and Cindy Plunkett, David and Julie Plunkett and Darryl and Susan Plunkett. Lovingly remembered by 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Also survived by a sister-in-law Jewell Plunkett. Predeceased by his parents, Wilfred and Elizabeth Plunkett, brothers Andy and Gordon Plunkett, son William Thompson and his grandson Kenny Plunkett. At Donald’s request, cremation has taken place. Spring interment of ashes will take place at Balls Cemetery, Londesborough. A public Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #109, Goderich on Saturday, December 17, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Messages of condolence for the family are welcome at www.falconerfuneralhomes.com.
