Elsie McKague passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 6, at Braemar Long-Term Care, Wingham in her 97th year. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons Brian & Adora and Shawn & Rose of Wingham. Loving grandmother of Andrew and Mathew McKague, Julia & Jonathan Hoffmann, and Scott & Amy McKague. Great-grandmother of Emmett, Corbin, Malcolm, and Everett. Also survived by her nieces Karen Ribey & Rodney, Donna Woolcock & Don, nephews Bill Wall & Bonnie, Rick Wall & Beryl, and their families. Predeceased by her husband Hugh L. McKague, her parents Ernest and Mary Thacker, her sister and only sibling Beth Wall, and brother-in-law Grant Wall. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 10, at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with interment in Culross-Teeswater Cemetery.
