Karges, Elsie (Age 92)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elsie Karges on Thursday, December 22, at Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock in her 93rd year. Elsie was born to the late Norman and Janet Harding. She moved to Listowel where she married Oliver Karges on July 19, 1949. They raised three sons, Donald and Lesley Karges, Alan and Rose Karges, and Peter and Debbie Karges. Elsie was the proud grandmother of 3, and great-grandmother to 2. Sister to Reita Markovich, and sister-in-law to Donalda Cunningham. Predeceased by her sisters Jean Wilson, Margaret Wood, and her brother Elmer Harding. A celebration of Elsie’s life will be held at Trinity United Church, Listowel, on Friday, January 20, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation one hour prior, and reception to follow.
