Jean Irwin, of Lucknow and formerly of Wingham, passed away peacefully at Pinecrest Manor on Saturday December 3, at the age of 92. Born in Dungannon on March 14, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth “Lyla” and Harvey Treleaven. Predeceased by husbands MacPherson Rutherford and Harvey Irwin, brothers Allan and Bea and Robert and Sharon Treleaven and brothers-in-law Grant & Glenn Irwin. Her feistiness will always be remembered, her love cherished and her presence missed by her 4 sons & their wives; Rick & Irene, Glenn & Maryann, Jamie & Marlene, and Kevin & Pam. Also survived and missed by 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and sister-in-law Betty Treleaven. Following Jean’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service and interment will take place at Greenhill Cemetery at a later date.
