Vera Fischer, 89, of RR3, Mitchell passed away peacefully on Monday, December 12. Beloved wife of the late Dalton Fischer. Dear mother of Bob Fischer and Pam, Judy Culligan and John, Dave Fischer and Tracy, and Janet Fischer and Alan. Loving grandmother of 5. Cherished great-grandmother of 3. Dear sister of Doreen Gloor, Norma Boyd, and Ray Feltz and Marlene. Dear sister-in-law of Alice, Joyce, and Audrey Feltz. Predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Martha Feltz, brothers Lloyd, Ralph, and Harold Feltz, and brothers-in-law Elwood Boyd, Lloyd Gloor, and Jack Fischer. Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, Mitchell on Saturday, December 17, from 1-4 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre.
