Daniel Dillon of Wroxeter at Wingham & District Hospital on Monday, December 5, passed away surrounded by his family, at the age of 61. Husband of Wendy Dillon. Father of Joe & Michelle Dillon, Laura Dillon, Tony Dillon & Tracey Steacy, and Carrie Dillon. Grandfather of Ty, Riley & Jess, Makayla, Pheonix, River, and Atticus. Great-grandfather of Ayden. Brother of Rick Dillon, Randy Dillon & Lisa Joly, Bev Dillon & Jim Walker, and Bonnie Dillon & Clayton Kirk. Also sadly missed by Wendy’s siblings, Elaine & Roy Ceal, Mary & Jim Sproul, Gail & Terry , Glenda & Gerard Ducharme as well as by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Joe & Sue Dillon, parents-in-law Robert & Margret Bateman and sister-in-law Carol Bateman. Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. The service will be live-streamed, and a link available on the funeral home’s website.
