Joan Barr passed away peacefully with family at her side at Huron Shores Hospice in Tiverton on December 7th, in her 87th year. She was the cherished wife of the late Jack Barr whom predeceased her in 2010. Joan leaves behind her daughters Jeannette and Gary Fair of Kincardine, Susan and Henry Van de Klippe of Kincardine, and her son Murray and Michele Barr of Kinlough. Missed by her 6 grandchildren, and her 4 great-grandchildren. Survived by her siblings Betty, Bruce and Margaret, Don, and Ross and Terri Hamilton, and her in-laws Eileen and Donald Barr, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Jane & Gilbert Hamilton, her in-laws John & Cora Barr, Doris & Morley Bushell, Russell, Barbara, Trixie, and Percy Barr. Due to Covid, a private family funeral will be held at MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow. Interment Greenhill Cemetery.
