Jim Ament passed away at his home in Fordwich on Sunday, December 18, in his 65th year. Son of Eileen Ament and the late Clayton Ament. Father of Kerry & Dan Purdon of Stratford, and Krista & Rod Clarke of Fordwich. Grandfather of Gavin and Grace Purdon, and Preston, Kyla, and Sheldon Clarke. Brother of Ivan Ament of Palmerston, Steve Ament of Atwood, and Greg Ament of Gorrie. Nephew of Bob & Isabel Hamilton of Stratford. Remembered also by his nieces, great-niece, great-nephews, and many cousins. Visitation will be held at Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel, on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 22nd at 11:00 a.m. The service will be live-streamed and the link available on the funeral home website.
