Smit, Ruth (Age 87, Zuidhorn)
Ruth Smit went home to be with her Lord, on Sunday, November 20, in her 88th year. Ruth was wife of the late Alef Smit. Mother of Patricia & Tim Kornelis, Melinda & Wil Bakker, and Keenan & Valerie Smit. Grandmother of 13, and great-grandmother of 24. Sister of Bill & Jenny Vanderveen, and sister-in-law of Brenda Vanderveen and Margaret Vanderveen. Funeral service will be held at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, Listowel, on Thursday, November 24, at 2:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. The service will be live-streamed and the link available on the funeral home and church websites.
