Bill Salter of Listowel passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Friday, November 11th in his 94th year. Bill will be remembered by his nieces and nephew, Fern and Rob Fleming of Copper Cliff, Donald Kennedy of Woodstock, and Jean Hurst of Strathroy. Also survived by his cousin Karen & Calvin Wenzel of Palmerston as well as other cousins, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Emerson and Dora Salter, sisters Violet Archer, and Ruby Hurst, brother Jim Salter, and by Don’s wife Maryanne Rathy and Don’s daughter Crystal Lee-Kennedy. Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Monday, November 21st from 10am until time of the funeral service at 11. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel. Memorial donations to Listowel Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
