Annie Poppe of Mitchell passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, November 11th at the Ritz Lutheran Villa in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Herman Poppe. Dear mother of Delores Poppe and John Dyck, Henry Poppe and Nancy, Mike Poppe and Sherry, and Angela Maloney and Chris. Greatly missed by her 9 grand and 3 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Minnie Groten, Henry Heuver [hoover] Exel, brothers Johan, Wim, and Antony Heuver, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Tony Groten, Henry and Jean Freriks, Mies Kolkman, Willy and Wilhelmina Poppe, and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law in Holland. Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home on Thursday November 17th from 2 to 4pm and 6m to 8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Dublin on Friday November 18th at 11:00 am. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre. Memorial donations to the Ritz Lutheran Villa or Arthritis Society would be appreciated.
