Elaine Marie Finlay of Walkerton passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 2, at Chapman House, Owen Sound, surrounded by her family, at age 72. Elaine will be dearly missed by her husband Dan, son Scott and Sheri, and her two grandchildren Fiona and Kyla. Elaine will be remembered by her brother Robert McKay and Roberta Barrett, and her nephews and nieces Morgan McKay, Iain and Veronica McKay, Kenin McKay and Peter Rose, and Eslin McKay. Predeceased by her parents Grant and Doris McKay and her parents-in-law Dave and Jean Finlay. Missed but to be never forgotten by her “life sisters” Roberta Ann Haggart, Kym Burt, “Skip”, Cheryl Prouse, Joni Egar, Melanie Emke and Alice Hadzis. A memorial service for Elaine will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, at Cameron’s in Walkerton. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
