William ”Bill” Dowson of Varna in his 85th year, peacefully at Queensway Nursing Home, Hensall, on Wednesday November 9. Beloved husband of the late Joyce Dowson for 59 years. Loving father of Brenda & Scott Consitt, Bonnie Groot, and John Dowson. Cherished grandfather of 12. Treasured by his great grandchildren. Dear brother in law of John & Barb Jewitt, Dennis & Phyllis Jewitt, Janice Preszcator, Bonnie Jewitt, Don & Pat Jewitt, Larry & Jessie Jewitt, Ken & Mary Jewitt, and Steven & Rose Jewitt. Dear uncle of David, and Jamie Tipping. Predeceased by his parents Harold & Margaret Dowson, sister Marion & Earl Tipping, brother John Dowson, brothers in law Ross & Kevin Jewitt, Jim Preszcator, and nephew Dan Tipping.
