Florence Weltz of Ayton, passed away peacefully at Rockwood Terrace, Durham on Tuesday, October 18. She was 76. Survived by her dearly loved husband of 56 years, Raymond Weltz. Loved mother of Ann Weltz- MacPherson and Andrew, Sheryl and Steve Smith, Joan and Mike Roth, Judy, and Steve and Jennifer Weltz. Cherished and adored Grandma to 7. Fondly remembered by her siblings Ruth Wolfe, John Kaufman, Edwin Kaufman and sister-in-law Mary Kaufman. She will be missed by her in-laws Howard and Marlene Weltz, and Betty and Bob Watson as well as her nieces, nephews and their families. Lovingly remembered by her lifelong friend, Sharon McDonald. She will be missed by many relatives in the Kaufman, Weltz, Weidendorf, and Schul families. Predeceased by her brothers Jim Kaufman and Ivan Kaufman, as well as many friends and family. Family and friends are invited to a Graveside Memorial Service held on Saturday October 22, at 11:00 am at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Ayton. All are welcome and please feel free to bring a lawn chair and dress in comfortable clothes. Cremation with interment in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Ayton. Lunch to follow at the Ayton Arena.
