Hazel Friel, at her home in Palmerston, on Monday, October 17, at the age of 97. Wonderful mother of Pat & John Crispin, Dennis Hollis, Dan & Janice Friel, Roy Robertson, Cathy & Pat Fagan, Grace Friel & Dave Huson, Mike Friel, Mary Lynn Marquette, and Matt Friel. Loving grandmother of 14, and special great-grandmother of 14. Sister-in-law of Eleanor and Stewart Winer. Hazel was predeceased by her parents John and Hilda Winer, siblings Howard Winer, Myrtle & Edward Carroll, daughter Donna Robertson, and by her husband Maurice Friel. Visitation will be held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston, on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Celebration of Hazel’s life will be held at Knox-Calvin Presbyterian Church, Harriston on Saturday, October 22 at 1:30 p.m. with reception to follow.
